Independent mechanical design authority covering pressure containment, load cases, and structural validation.

Technical Scope & Depth

• Design and verification of pressure vessels (350–700 bar class).

• Full FEA-led stress, fatigue, and buckling assessment, including:

  • Pressure + thermal gradients

  • Transport and shock load cases

  • Mounting interface load transfer

• Design-for-certification aligned to PED, ADR, and UN-ECE hydrogen-derived safety philosophies.

• Clear failure-mode visibility for regulators and insurers.

Outcome:

• Enabled first-of-kind gas systems to move from concept to certifiable design without OEM lock-in.

• Demonstrated Equitus’s ability to de-risk novel systems early, exactly the challenge faced in compact CO₂ capture, compression, and storage modules.

• Direct analogue to CO₂ containment vessels, buffer tanks, and transportable capture skids.
